Maggie's Birthday

After we went to the McWane Centeron Saturday, we went to Maggie's second birthday party at Gymboree.
Olivia had a lot of fun especially playing with Maggie and her brother, Maddox. Olivia and Maddox were joined at the hip most of the time. They are so funny and cute playing together.
Maggie is very busy and such a cutie as you can see in these pictures.

Last Saturday, we took Olivia to the McWane Center for our first time. Olivia's Nana and Pop gave her a membership for her birthday and we couldn't wait to use it. Olivia really enjoyed it and I think mommy and daddy did as well. I couldn't believe how much there was to do.

Olivia's 3rd Birthday was Saturday, Valentine's Day!!! We had her party at JumpZone and all the kids had a blast.
She had a great party and got lots of great presents. It is so amazing to see how big she has gotten since her last birthday!! Wow how time goes by!!!

Olivia and I went to the zoo with Lauren and Anden Saturday. It was a great day to go because all of the animals were very alert and showing off for the kids. We rode the train, which was Olivia's first time to ever ride the train there and she ended up really enjoying the ride. We had a great time and hope to go back soon!!!

I know most of you can't believe this, but I am officially updating my blog. Please don't faint!!!!
I'm not really sure where to begin in explaining the reasons of why I have not updated in a while but I will give you a few; for starters at the end of football season, my dad broke his back while hunting and is still recovering. He is getting better each day and thankfully he did not have to undergo any type of surgeries. Please keep him your prayers.
We have celebrated several birthdays, my sister's and her boyfriend's and Olivia's friend, Jake.
Oh, almost forgot, work has been very stressful lately. I don't have enough time or fingers to tell you all about this situation. Let's just say that you need to say a prayer for me!!!
And last, we have been extremely busy with the holidays as most of you were too. We had lots of get together's with friends and family. We had so much fun spending time with everyone. We also had a wonderful Christmas and Olivia got more stuff than she knows what to do with. I wish I could upload all the pictures but that would take an extremely long time!!!
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and is having a great start to a new year!!!!
I will make sure that I do better this upcoming year in keeping my blog up to date.

Here a few more pictures from the Alabama game.
As you can see, Olivia and Jake were playing with Jeffrey in the playhouse. I'm not quite sure who enjoyed the house better!!!!
Also, Olivia was so proud to get to hold Caroline again. Caroline is such a great baby. She didn't make a peep during all the screaming and celebrating that was going on. I couldn't beleive it.

We had friends over to watch the Alabama game Saturday and Olivia was showing off her cheerleading outfit. This outfit is actually the same one she wore last year!!! I was so glad she could still wear it because football season approached very fast and I didn't realize that Olivia didn't have much to wear.
We are so proud of Alabama, they played great. I just hope they can keep up the hardwork.

Saturday morning Olivia went and played with Anna Kate. These two girls are soo silly.
I wasn't able to get many pictures of them because they were very busy.
Olivia hasn't really been exposed to stairs but after Anna Kate showed her how to jump off them, Olivia loved it.
Karen and I peeked around the corner without them knowing and then they realized they got caught!!! The bottom two pics are from when we caught them about to jump!!!!

Everyday that passes, Olivia's love for shoes gets greater!!!
After my birthday dinner, she had to wear Aunt Stacy's shoes. As you can see Stacy was trying to get her to strike a pose, as she did very well. I haven't yet figured out if this is going to be a bad or a good thing!!!
Also, Olivia is becoming very hard to dress these days. She puts up a great fight every morning before school because she doesn't want to wear what I have picked out for her.

My birthday was last Wednesday and we celebrated Friday night.
My parents took us out to eat and then we ate birthday cake at my sister's house.
Olivia kept saying it was her birthday!!!

Olivia was being silly as you can see!!!
She first brought me a pink tutu to put on, which you can't see because it is under the grass skirt. Then she brought me the grass skirt along with the bunny ears. The next time she came back with Bama shakers.
As much talk that has been going on around our house about football apparently has rubbed off on her.
Looks as if she is ready for football season!!! (She's adding a little twist to her Bama wardrobe.)
She is getting more and more silly as the days pass!!!!

Our last party for the day was for Austin's 3rd birthday.
It was like Olivia flipped a switch and became very excited and hyper.
She had to bounce and jump on everything she could get herself on.
It is so funny because the last party we had a Fun Factory, Olivia wouldn't go near the biggest slide they have. Last night, Olivia climbed up that big slide all on her own and slid down too!!! She did this several times. I just stood there with amazement and shock.
She had such an exciting day, that she slept all night and slept late!!!

We went to the beach this past week with Mimi and Poppa!!! We went to Orange Beach for our annual family vacation. We had a great time and Olivia had a blast!!! Olivia made friends with some precious little girls. They had so much fun playing in the pool together. I was really surprised at how well Olivia enjoyed the beach. She absolutely loved playing in the sand but wasn't so crazy about the ocean.
Thank you Mimi, Poppa, Nana and Granddaddy for a wonderful vacation. We had a fabulous time and can't wait for next year!!!

This past weekend we all went to the beach in Seagrove. We all had a great time as you can see. One thing I discovered over this weekend, is that I'm not as young as I used to be because we stayed up way past my bedtime and I am still trying to recover. Or, it could be that I have a child too!!!

Olivia, Stacy, Jillian and myself prepared a surprise picnic for our mother's today at Aldridge Gardens. They were quite surprised to see we were having a picnic and really enjoyed it.
I speak for all of us and have to say that we have the best and most wonderful mother's in the world. I don't know what I would do without them. They mean the world to me. Whenever you need anything they are always there!!! They do so much for us so we thought we would show our appreciation for all that they do.

After the Buck Creek Festival, Palmer came over and played with Olivia. Olivia was such a sweet girl!! She loved playing with Palmer. Palmer's favorite part was jumping on the tramopline!! She got so tickled at Olivia jumping!!!

Olivia and I went to the zoo on Friday!! After sitting still for about 30 minutes to get in the zoo to park, I thought I had made a bad decision on bringing her to the zoo!!! There were tons of kids from schools from all over. I have never seen so many school buses in my life at one time!!! Once we got in it wasn't that bad. Olivia and I went our own way and she got to see lots of animals!!

Olivia has graduated to her next class at daycare and that means "potty training"!!!!
Yes, we had to buy big girl panty's (pull-ups)!!!!
After a few days of just sitting on the potty, Olivia finally used the potty at home!!! As you can see Olivia was very proud of herself because Mommy and Daddy were very excited too!!!
We are not completely there yet, but we are a step closer!! She is doing good at it but apparently she is better at it at school than at home!!!

Monday night we all went to Sips N Strokes to become artists. This was my first time and I really had a good time. I was a little intimidated when I saw that our canvas was blank and we had to start from scratch. Luckily all we had were two colors!! Once the instructor began it wasn't as bad to do as I thought!!!

Last Wednesday I took these pictures of Olivia blowing dandilions!!! She was having soo much fun until she fell and got her biggest "booboo"!!!! The sidewalk just popped up out of nowhere and got her knee good!!! I thought the world was about to stop for her...she cried like no other!!! Still to this day she does not like for you to talk about her "booboo" or even look at it!! She's a little sensitive.

We took Olivia to the Easter Egg Hunt at church on Saturday. She enjoyed herself until the Easter Bunny came to visit. She doesn't quite understand that he's nice!!! Once he was gone she went back to her hunting eggs.

We carried Olivia to Playhouse Disney on Saturday and she absolutely loved it!!!! She was a little nervous at the beginning but when Mickey Mouse and Pooh made their appearances, she began to loosen up and enjoy!!! The show was very cute and we all had a blast!!!

I know you can't believe it, but I'm finally updating my blog. I'm sorry it's been soo long!!!!
Anyway, to catch you up on us, Olivia has turned 2 and had a great birthday!!! She got lots of great things that mommy and daddy are still trying to find places for.
Also, Olivia has been sick for a couple of weeks now with bronchitis and a stomach bug, but hopefully we are on our way to recovery. I will be so glad to see this season change and get out this sick rut. It seems like everybody I know has been sick.

Trick or Treat

Olivia, as you can see, was a pink poodle for Halloween!!! She looked so adorable in her costume. I was beginning to think it was going to be a little too hot for her to wear, but after all it worked out. She really enjoyed getting to trick or treat in our neighborhood!!! Olivia had her first haircut several weeks ago!! Let me just say that it was not very fun not that I thought it would be but never thought she would act this way!!! I took her to Angel Hair thinking that since they cater to children it would be more on her level. Olivia wouldn't even sit in the boat seat, I ended up holding her throughout the entire haircut!! Eventually we got her hair cut and it looks much better and healthier!!!!

Jeremy and I took Olivia to the park a few weekends ago and she watched the birds (at a distance). She didn't really care for getting too close. As you can see she spotted them for me!!!
